It is only 2 days away, and without realising, I have spent my off-days doing nothing, except eating, sleeping, attending farewell and sleeping again. I have gained 5 kilogram successfully, hoping the extra pounds will subside after a while.
Done with packing, indeed this was the most challenging part, which one to follow, and which one not to follow. After deciding, thinking, and rationalising, the final checklist has been completed and I have to say goodbye to some of my 'wealthy' wardrobe for a year.
While most people were talking about sambal, serunding, curry powder, ginger torch, kunyit, lengkuas etc. I managed to get myself some sour plum powder....(ala...serbuk asamboi tuuu). As I am a Jambu Asam Boi fanatic, the absence of this substance will definitely make me unhappy. So, the powder gets into my luggage as well. Forget about the instant noodle, it doesn't belong to me. It is meant for someone else, who is in need! You will know that you are missing Malaysia when you want something to be brought from the motherland. For me, the serbuk asam boi is the thing. So people, should you feel like visiting me, please bring serbuk asam boi as a souvenir from motherland.
Documentation is pretty daunting anyway! I have to photocopy multi pages of documents. Passport, visa, CAS, offer letter, medical report, bla bla bla and the list goes on. In the end, it is a PLUS 1.5kg to my luggage (Berat macam harammmm ooooh).
Farewells, yeah....so many farewells, with staffs, friends, buddies, KB, BFF, KP, (Ahh...KB is Kawan Baik, or politely known as BFF, while KP is Kawan Plastik, which can be translated as...I hate you but I can't avoid myself from seeing you, hence the plastic smile!). To all, thank you for the farewell gifts. Some are heavy, some are very simple but valuable. I can't bring all along! But please bear with me, the gifts are going to be treasured into my mind, as one of the sweetest moment spent together.
Meanwhile, I keep myself busy browsing the college's page, flipping notes, and surprisingly....
Classes will begin at 2 in the afternoon (that's the earliest), and end at 9 in the evening. While people are busy packing things to go home, I am busy heading to the classroom. Marvelous! Passport, checked. Shirts, checked. Perfumes, checked. Serbuk Asam Boi, checked! So....everything's done! Let's move on....
Dear feelings....can you posses me please!
