Clumsily Bleached

Well folks, I did some laundry last night, upon arriving from trip to nowhere. As usual, I used pre-spray to remove stains on my shirt collar. These shirts had been in the laundry basket for days. I am on leave, and I am so lazy to do laundry, mind me, I have iron and ironing board at home, but I still send my shirts to the laundry mart to do the ironing. How I wish I have the passion to do the ironing just like others.

I'm having one problem, where I love to arrange things accordingly. However, I always mix my things, and ended it up my putting everything at the same place.

It was near midnight, my mind kept telling me, time to call it a day, but my desire of finishing my laundry told me the other way round. I opened my laundry basket, and took everything out (well, there were 6 pairs of shirt in it). I went straight to the laundry area and did the usual ritual.

Pre-spray is a must for me, and I will gently brush my shirts before putting it in the washing machine. Without noticing, I clumsily took the wrong spray! It turned out to be my Mr. Muscle, mildew and mold remover. Obviously it was highly chlorinated but I did not notice that. Too sleepy to notice I guess!

The washing cycle went normally, until I heard the stopping sound. Time to hang my shirts. To my surprise, the collar had some whitish mark and I sniffed the spot. Hell yeah, it smelled like Mr Muscle. I must have mistakenly sprayed it, assuming it was my pre-wash without checking.

I quickly removed all shirts from the washing machine, and I found 2 shirts with similar marks. Both were the expensive ones! To add salt to the wound, both shirts were among the latest! Damn you Mr Muscle!

Well, both shirts ended up in the plastic bag, and went straight to the trash.

Morale of the story : when your mind says NO, just QUIT. Don't challenge your mind, or you will ruin everything, just like me, clumsily bleached my shirts. Secondly, kindly check, and even double check, before executing. There goes my Ringgit, as easy as A B C.
