After spending a day searching internet facilities, I managed to secure a connection at my transit accommodation. Yesterday was tiring, and today is still the same. I arrived London safely after almost 14 hours in a Flying Dugong. The flight was uneventful, just like any other Malaysia Airlines flight. Nice set of crew, and to add creme on the top, I flew on the new plane.
I arrived Heathrow at 6 in the morning, and Alhamdulillah, immigration clearance was as swift as a breeze, 30 minutes of walking, queuing, filling forms, luggage collecting, and later I found myself sipping a cup of flat white at Costa Coffee. Nothing to rush, I purposely took the longer journey on Heathrow Connect to Paddington (cheaper actually, compared to the Heathrow Express, just like KLIA Express to KLSentral)
The bye-bye session at the airport was great. I saw Mama smiling widely AGAIN after missing it for almost 5 years. She must have been proud to see her son studying overseas. Honestly, I am happy to see Mama ear to ear smile!
With more than 5 hours to kill before I am allowed to check-in at transit accommodation (mind me, the accommodation was a lousy one, manned by one of Malaysian Gahmen Agency, it is a major disappointment actually), I sat for hours at Paddington Station doing nothing. One thing, it's good to be here again! I missed this place.
I started my day early on the second day! From my transit accommodation, I traveled to West Hampstead to sign housing agreement at the letting agent's office, and soon after that, I was on the bus to Camden Town, where my hibernating place is located. Today is the hop on hop of session, try and error, and to familiarize myself with the transporting system.
Tried the tube, and the bus as well. The bus is much better, as I can enjoy the view! And tonight, I am very tired, still jetlagging...so time for me to sleep! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....
Tomorrow? Well, I have another long day to go, Insya Allah....we'll see where I am heading to!
